I've had my laptop for about nine years and it has been gradually getting progressively slower and more unpredictable to the point where I thought a new one was the only option. In spite of the fact that I was plagued by snail's pace processing, not responding interruptions, sudden shut downs, some programs failing to run, etc, I was reluctant to take this step because it holds so much stuff that I don't want to lose: pictures, music, documents, etc. I also use equipment that requires USB connections and I don't think you get them on today's computers. The hinges were also stiff and had caused to lid to crack meaning I had to leave it open all the time. It was a real basket case! Dino took it away for a couple of days, installed a new bigger and better digital hard drive and memory storage and fixed the cracked lid. It's almost unrecognisable as the same laptop. It responds immediately and does everything I want. I'm truly amazed at the difference. And all for a fraction of the price of a new laptop with no need to worry about coping with no USB connections. No hesitation  in awarding five stars. He's a genius!

Dino revived my barely functioning computer by an amazing use of remote aid. He was able to transform it from a moribund piece of non-responsive material into a cleanly functioning extension of my working practice as a writer. 

In addition because it was old and out of date Dino was able to upgrade it with new parts and a good clean. In my many years of seeking help and support over computer issues Dino stands head and shoulders above anyone else. He is the best professional in this field you could hope to find.

My webcam did not work. Called Dtech and explained to him that I needed the webcam to stay incontact with my family.

I needed my computer to do online shopping, but the computer had a virus and started to run really slow. I contacted Dtec and left a message, within a couple of hours Dino contacted me and explained how to download and connect me remotely to him.

As he started to do his magic, the computer started to run faster. He checked that every thing was clean and safe to use.

I had a computer that was very noisy, very slow, full of viruses and I called out DTec to confirm

what I thought that I needed a new computer. I thought about £700 spend to get what I thought I needed.
D-Tech came out,discussed the various options me and said they could carry out a full service on my existing and give me all the things I needed for a fraction of the outlay for a new computer.  I agreed,  they took it away for about three days. The transformational was staggering ! It was like a Rolls -Royce of computers, totally silent, faster than I could deal with and totally virus  free.It looked like my computer but there the similarity ended. It is now a joy to use.
Thank you D-Tech for convincing me that I had no need to spend all that money on a new machine that would be no better than my own serviced by D-Tech. I give this prompt and honest service Five Stars, only because I can't choose any higher!

I have used Dtec on two occasions recently and found the service to be outstanding. I was having problems with my Imac slowing down and my CD/DVD player was not working properly, Dino got me back to normal running with one visit and I haven’t had a problem since.

My wife has just started a small business and we purchased laptop computer, docking station and printer which was complicated as we got them from her previous employer and Dino had to re-configure everything so we could use them away from the old network. This is now working well for us and we are very grateful for the help received.

“In September 2019, my Facebook account was hacked.  I realised very quickly that I had a problem, as the hackers had sent my Facebook friends a message supposedly from me, inviting them to click on a link.  I emailed Dino, who had serviced my PC earlier in the year.  Even though it was a Sunday afternoon, Dino replied and urged me not to open any emails or sign onto any of my accounts online.  He said he would be in touch the next day to arrange to check my computer for viruses.  Within 24 hours of my Facebook account being hacked, Dino had shut down my account at my request.  This was no easy task - the hackers were sophisticated and had set up a system to stop him from logging into my account to close it down.  As fast as he tried to access my account with a new password, so the hackers changed it.  In the hands of a less competent or determined IT expert, this might have meant the hackers kept control of my Facebook account, which they could have used to launch viruses or approach my Facebook friends posing as me.   Dino was able to find a way to override the hackers, regain control of my account and shut it down.  He also advised me to come off internet banking at the same time, as it is always a security risk.  I took his advice and now use telephone banking instead.  I am very grateful to Dino for rescuing me from these sophisticated hackers, all within 24 hours of me first emailing him.  I highly recommend him, both for a routine computer service and for troubleshooting.”

I have no hesitation in recommending Dtec for IT services. Both my wife and I had laptops which seemed to function only 20% of the time. Dino took both machines away and within 2/3days had removed all viruses and junk. They were thoroughly cleaned and performed like New .
We are now a few months on and everything is still fine. In both cases the charges were exceedingly reasonable. Dino provides what I call old fashioned service which I thought had been lost for ever.

My first experience of Dtec was to solve a problem which was stopping my computer from working.  Dtec responded and agreed to attend at home within a short period of being contacted.  The computer was fixed but the analysis of the problem highlighted the need for a proper service.  We arranged for this a short while later and again Dtec collected from my home and returned it a few days later, overseeing the ensuring the computer was up and running.  The improvement in the performance of the computer was significant.  I thought the cost was more than fair as I use the computer almost every day.

I called Dino when my old computer started to behave strangely. He came to look and said

he would need to take the computer away for a couple of days to diagnose and sort out. We agreed a price and 2 days later my computer was back virus free. The problems were more serious than first thought but Dino honoured the price and was very professional whilst being friendly and explaining everything in layman’s terms. I would highly recommend Dino, the service was faultless and I will use him again should I have any issues.
